"Diamond" Christmas Evenings

First of our Christmas events was Small Christmas Eve Meeting for children from Suprasl Orphanage. It was held on 18th of December in the apartment of Ewa and Ryszard Gutkowscy. It was organized in the framework of weekend meetings for our little friends from Supraśl. Later, we had the Christmas Eve Meetings in clubs in Białystok: on 21st of December in "Diamond" Children's Club (with participation of parents of our pupils) and on 22nd of December in "Shelter" Youth Club. During the meeting children presented specially prepared art program. The main point was of course giving presents.

Joy of Christmas

Season of Christmas is always very special in "Diamond". It is not only because we share the general Christmas atmosphere connected with happy anticipating for presents, but also because in a short period of time there are many events happening.
Every year we organize meetings that we call "Small Christmas Eves". They are substitutes of Christmas Eve Evening with its special atmosphere, and of course with the element so loved by all the children, that is giving gifts. Because Christmas is the season of giving presents inspired by The Greatest Gift, which human race received in Jesus Christ.
Christmas Meetings take place in "Diamond's" Clubs and in private houses. We will prolong this Christmas atmosphere till January 2011, when we will organize Christmas Parties together with the Social Care Department of City of Białystok.

Sports in "Diamond" Clubs

"Diamond's" pupils like to take part in sport activities. Boys from "Shelter" Youth Club not only participate in such activities indoors of the Club, but also willingly compete in other education centers. In December 2010 tennis table game was held in Orphanage in Supraśl. The representation of "Shelter" Club has won the game, but the most important was that it was held in very nice atmosphere.
Another sport event in December is worth mentioning. In "Diamond" Club we had a show of eastern art of fighting. Children from younger group as well as the group of youth could admire fitness of Gosia and Maciek.

With gifts to Narewka

In the framework of our Christmas Campaign we have also reached Narewka. This year together with Children's Club "Good News" we have prepared presents for group of children from families facing difficulties. They were given during special New Year's Meeting organized by Friends of Narewka Region Society on 12th of February 2010. We are very glad that we too were presented with joy and smiles on children's faces. We appreciate very much our cooperation with the Board of Directors of Narewka's Schools and with the mentioned Society.

Joint Christmas Party organized by "Diamond" and Social Care Department in Białystok

Traditionally, as in previous years, "Diamond" Center has organized special New Year's Party together with Social Workers Team nr 5 of Social Care Department in Białystok. The event took place on 24th of January 2010 in Public School nr 47 in Białystok. 110 children and parents were invited to have fun together. In spite of very low temperatures children appeared in great amount and with joy participated in prepared program. We had games and contests and some fun with the music. The most emotional point of the program was of course giving out presents for all the children.
